
Recently Mr. Bob Bell has been named the new manager of the Baillie Lumber Smyrna NY Concentration yard.
Bob, a graduate of West Virginia University, started as a manager trainee in our Cove City, North Carolina facility in 2011. He moved to Ohio to take over the yard in Galion, Ohio in 2015 where he spent the last few years rebuilding the team and overseeing several key facility improvements.
“Having the chance to transfer to the Baillie Lumber Smyrna yard is a great opportunity,” said Mr. Bell. “This facility has a very professional and experienced team of leaders already in place who I look forward to working with and learning from.”
In addition to managing the Smyrna facility Bob is currently working on competing his MBA and is scheduled to graduate in August of 2018.
The Baillie Lumber Smyrna facility produces some of the finest hardwood lumber in the industry. They specialize in manufacturing several hardwood lumber species such as ash, cherry, hard maple, hickory, red oak, soft maple and white oak.
